Leadership
Leadership is the conscious or unconscious, direct or indirect control
of the behavior of individuals, groups, and systems of all kinds (e.g.
machines, organizations).
Leadership uses management instruments like providing goals, organizing, arranging, delegating, informing, motivating, negotiating, judging, setting up budgets, and sanctioning. The respective management processes are for example Strategy development, Planning and Organizing, Decision making, Change management, Communication, HR development, and Reporting.
Leadership will be applied through the individual managerial style (e.g. hierarchically, cooperatively, laissez-faire). Thus, the leader determines the leadership style that is usually copied by the underlying layers.
